Night games generally provide a little more spark and buzz in around the stadium. If you haven't noticed it in Lincoln your loco. Sometimes the buzz is attributed to a buzz, but there really is no greater day then sitting at the stadium or favorite drinking establishment all day awaiting that evening kick.

That being said Tech is just on a roll as of late at home and especially at night. With players, a night game is an entirely different monster than day games. You are building anticipation throughout the day and are well rested and fully awake vs. early kickoffs.

That being said this is the perfect kickoff time for this game, although a 3:30 would be sweeter, because it isn't the night, where home teams can become a whole different animal. And it isn't a 10:00(our time) kick where our boys generally look half asleep. Think the Wake game a couple of years ago as well as the Pitt game I believe.

It should be a great game though. And who knows what may happen when a Bo Pelini team goes on a long road trip, that in its self could be interesting.

ABC/ESPN are part of the same Disney family. ABC, ESPN, Gameplan and ESPN 360 are all ABC/ESPN action.

 

Since the game is regional on ABC and national on ESPN2, it won't be on two channels at the same time. You will either get one or the other. If you live on the east coast or midwest you'll get the game on ABC, ESPN2 will air a separate game. If you live anywhere else, you'll get the game on ESPN2 and ABC will carry your regional game.
