Enhance
Well for starters, I just googled nebraska's fan day for this year and it says it is the 8th of August which is Saturday, so that is the only help I can provide. Otherwise I don't know much about it. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
I went in 06 and it was a good sized crowd. Expect long lines for all the main players. Quote Link to comment
hskerprid
I've heard alot of gripes about how short the amount of time that the fans have. You only have 90 minutes to get autographs and visit. Half of those minutes, if not more, are spent standing in line. It would be nice if they would stretch the time out more for those of us who have a couple of hour drive to get there. It just doesn't seem like it would be worth the time and money for the trip to have such a small window of opportunity. Just my .02 worth. Quote Link to comment
dbetz23
Keep in mind these are 18-22 year old KIDS. Granted they are all D-1 athletes and all, but it really isn't their job to sit in the heat for 8 hours and sign things. Be happy they do what they do. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Keep in mind these are 18-22 year old KIDS. Granted they are all D-1 athletes and all, but it really isn't their job to sit in the heat for 8 hours and sign things. Be happy they do what they do. That works both ways. This is the price of playing major college football. If they can't handle sitting in the sunlight for a few hours signing their names to a piece of paper in exchange for all that goes with playing football for Nebraska... well, let's just say there are literally thousands of 18-22 year old kids willing to take their place. Luckily almost every player on the team likes doing things for the fans, so this kind of stuff doesn't come up much. Sure they get bored, but they're willing to do it for the fans.
