BigWillie
Also remove Curtis Bailey. A death in his family will keep him from attending. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Also remove Curtis Bailey. A death in his family will keep him from attending. I don't think Curtis Bailey was even listed as a guy visiting this weekend. At least, not to my knowledge Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Bailey was listed, but removed because of the death in the family. Their was an article on Rivals a few days ago about it. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Anthony Atkins and Larry Hutchinson from Compton CC might be visiting. Both are teammates of NU commit Brandon Johnson. Atkins is a LB/DE while Larry is a LB. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Cruz Barrett is visiting for the KSU game Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
A new prospect from out of the blue by the name of Craig Cooper is visiting 12/9 with D.J Jones and Sir Aaron Maron. Also there is a big possibility that juco Ashley Palmer pays Lincoln a visit. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Like i said yesterday, there was a chance Palmer visits NU, and it's going to happen. Ashlee Palmer will be in Lincoln on a visit December 16th Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Sir Aaron Mason changed his visit from Dec 9th to January 13th. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Courtesy: New Mexico State University Nebraska will be getting a visit from a Junior college player from the California Juior college ranks. Carl Nicks transfered from New Mexico St to a Juco College after the 2003 season in which he played in 7 games. He has a bio still available on the New Mexico St football roster if anyone is interested in seeing what he looks like. Carl is a guy that could start next year compared to some other guys who might need some S&C to get them into shape. He is being recruited as an offensive tackle. He has offers from Cal, Nebraska, Washington, and Arkansas St. Florida, Kansas are also pursuing him. He is from Salina CC and is a 3 for 2 prospect. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Awesome, keep thickening up that depth chart. Also, how the hell do you get a name like Sir Aaron Mason. Is he a knight or something? Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
4 star WR/DB Jeremy Maclin decommitted from Oklahoma and has dropped them from consideration. He currently has a top 3 of Texas Tech (high on them b/c of all the passing they do), Missouri, and Nebraska. Nebraska is going to have to battle Tech for his services and beat them out. He's already taken visits to Texas Tech back in August, Colorado when they placed NU, and just came off a Missouri visit this weekend. He's also expected to be visiting Nebraska before he makes a final decision. No time table yet on when a visit is coming, but he's planning on coming. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Craig Cooper cancelled his visit to NU which was scheduled for 12/9/2005 Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Keith Williams visiting 12/16/2005. Nebraska's is pushing hard for offensive lineman. 5 of the 7 prospects visiting are offensive lineman and 1 is already committed (D.J Jones). NU will likely only take 2 more offensive lineman and the way NU is getting these lineman lined up for a visit, it could mean 1 of 2 things 1- NU isn't confident J.B Walton will commit to NU 2-NU is keeping the lines of communication open with other OL targets just incase Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
NU is down to 9 visit slots left available. A few more prospects are likely to be visiting. A Running back by the name of Keith Toston out of Texas who is ranked as a 3 star prospects by both Scout and Rivals and a 3 star by ESPN's Scouts INC should be tripping to NU on January 6th. He holds offers from every Big12 team except Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M. He also has offers from a handful of SEC schools like Arkansas, LSU, Alabama. He is taking a visit to Oklahoma St this weekend, TCU the following weekend, and Texas A&M on January 13th after the NU visit. Another prospect likely to be tripping is Herb Bynes who is rated as a 3 star QB by rivals, 2 stars by Scout, and 3 star by Scouts Inc will be tripping on December 16th. He has offers from Nebraska, Lousiville, Kansas, Ole Miss, Central Florida, and Rutgers. There's are tenitive visits for now, which means they could be shuffled around for different dates.
