The Big Man's Shoes

Recommended Posts

I know I shouldn't be looking ahead to next year already but just wondering if anybody knows who is going to TRY to fill Suh's shoes next year. Guys like him don't come around very often. I hope he wins all the honors and awards he deserves. Suh is absolutely the best player in college football today IMO !

I am thinking Rome may step in sooner rather than later. Everything I have read about him makes you want to get him in here and get him into some role. Yeah, he will have a learning curve, but if anyone reminds me of a Suh coming in, it is that kid.

But that is not taking away from Suh, he is a dominate player in the NCAA right now.

I'm in CA and I'm the only Husker fan in my circle of friends, but everyone who saw the game and knows I'm a Husker fan couldn't stop raving about Suh. He definitely made an impression on people in that game. Unfortunately he seems like one of those once in a generation type of players and couldn't possibly be replaced, but I think were in good hands next year with Crick and Steinkuler.

I think Jared Crick is doing a great job opposite of Suh right now. He and Baker will be side by side for a couple of years.

it will be fun to watch

Exactly, I think both of these guys are going to suprise some people. Crick is bigger than Suh and Suh imself said he may be stronger. He is green behind the ears in a big way, once he matures..... look out!
