It's not the complaining here that gets me, it's the lack of personal responsibility. He knew they had a team meeting, he fell asleep, and he whines publicly that he thinks it's absurd yet he is the one at fault. This kid is a spoiled little beach and until he can take responsibility for himself he'll continue to be a little beach his whole life. Grow up kid, one day you have to become a man and you'll find out the hard way if all you do is blame others for your bullshite.

 

As a high school teacher and coach, I couldn't agree more. And what's sad is that today, more and more parents are defending that kind of "not my child's fault" attitude.

Many work places have a policy of when a worker does a no call-no show, they get fired. Be lucky he's not off the team.
