WVhuskerXX
We are going to struggle for the rest of this year. So there is no reason IMO to play Lee..Green is the future...let him have get his bumps and bruises when everyone is..then he will be "experienced" going into next year...there is NO reason to leave Lee in...none Quote Link to comment
MNBIGRED
agreed, i was sure green would start this week but they were seeing if Lee could salvage the season against ISU and didnt work out, granted Lee played pretty well it was the RB and WR fault this week. Now that this year looks pretty grim might as well get Green experience for the next couple of years. Quote Link to comment

You should probably be asking yourself why do we have some of our recievers in who can't catch the ball. People keep wanting to see Green in. Well it doesnt matter who the hell is QB if recievers can't catch the ball. Quote Link to comment

The receivers had plenty of drops and there were plenty of fumbles, but when it came time to grow a pair and step up to win the game, lee threw three incompletions and a pick. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
The receivers are useless. The only shot this team has is running the ball and winning low scoring games. The best way to run is to include the zone read. The best way to include the zone read is to put in a QB that can run. I'll give you a hint. It isn't Zac Lee. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
Someone is too stubborn to put in Green when all the media is calling for it. Classic don't-tell-me-what-to-do scenario. Quote Link to comment

Rep The 402
Its funny, does any body even notice that when Lee throws to his recievers, he throws it behind them making it a little more difficult to catch. ALSO, he throws them to high and low. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
This game was not Lee's fault at all. He didn't play the best, but that f'ing terrible sh#t-stepping Paul blew the game on his untouched drop 5 feet from the endzone. He scores that, we win. Quote Link to comment

Do you believe this is watson or bo? I say watson is in charge of the offense but bo strikes me as the type that would take that approach. Bottom line is Husker fans know football. You can't run your program by what the fans want but if there's ever a fanbase that you don't disregard it's this one. I know people outside the program that see this post will disagree and see it as arrogance but we live and die this stuff. Quote Link to comment
