BigRedPowerWagon
It seems like if we are doing this bad, were waisting suhs time and talent. I guess were still trying to find ourselves and weve got the greatest defensive player in the country. Working his butt off for us and we cant show him something on the other side of the ball. Hes getting plenty of practice for his NFL career but im sure he wants us to finish strong. Seems like were kinda rolling over on the offensive side of the ball. Quote Link to comment

Not exactly wasting his time since he went from 20-27ish in the draft last year to projected 1st.. Although I agree we're wasting great defensive play for a garbage offense.. Must have been a sign when Q was released that this season was going to be full of unknowns and heartbreaks. Quote Link to comment

redout22
What I think is the worst is that Terrance Cody is getting attention for the heisman. He blocks one kick!!. Thats nothing compared to what Suh does. Quote Link to comment
I am I
No. Straight up No. if you heard him talk on air after the game, you know he is team first... he straight up said, "Our O is like our D from last year...they kept us in the game...now it's our turn to keep them in the game...etc.." we are not 'wasting' his talent...he is doing everything to win games and it will pay off for him individually and for N as a whole...it's not a f'ing one man game Quote Link to comment
I See Red People
^^Agreed^^ Suh is a team player. He knows he is here to help the team and learn from Bo. He is doing great at both. Some of us here thought he returned so we could "contend" this year, but I don't think Suh necessarily believed that. Quote Link to comment
Billyball
It's odd that Suh is perhaps the best player ever to be a Husker. He will likely be the number 1 pick in the NFL. And sadly he may be playing on what can turn out to be the poorest Husker team of modern times. This was the year we were supposed to be in the driver's seat for the North and many thought we would compete well for the CC. After yesterday, no game left on our schedule with the possible exception of BAylor (wouldn't shock for an L there) is anything more than a toss up. If we lose more than half of those games, this will be the sorriest performance compared to expectations in memory. It is possible we lose way more than half of our remaining games. The sad fact is that we lose a whole lot from our defense that cannot possibly be replaced. No amount of homer BS can claim we will be as good next year on defense. With our offense showing nothing even close to improvement and in fact regressing what will be the expectations next year? Have we become a mediocre program and its just taken us diehards several years to accept it? Quote Link to comment
