HuskerT
Couldn't agree more! He was a bad ass last night. He made one of the best textbook open field tackles I've ever seen. Congrats on the hard work Phil, enjoy the NFL! Quote Link to comment
missouri_husker24
I said at the beginning of the year the he would start at LB and be a monster. I didnt think it would take 3 games into the season but I'm glad he is where he is. We dont win that game without him. Apparently Pelini finally got the message across to Dillard. Once he got out of the doghouse there was no turning back. I think I can safely say I will see him on Sundays next year. He would be a great LB for 3rd and short. I think his coverage could maybe use a little work. One thing I can almost guarantee is the previous staff would have never pushed Dillard to reach this level of play. Dillard would have been an average LBer at best. But Bo Carl and Ekler wouldn't accept average from Dillard. Thank the lord we finally have a coaching staff that can squeeze every ounce of talent and ability out of our players. So Bravo Dillard, but also Bravo coaching staff. Quote Link to comment
