Who has Mediacom?

The customer service reps are all clueless. Anyone with Mediacom ever ordered ESPN Gameplan? How do you do it and which channels are the games on?

If you have mediacom there is no need to order Gameplan. Just open a espn360 account and watch it for free via your computer. (only certain ISP's have a deal with espn360 and mediacom is one of them) The quality is comparable to SD and if you are savy enough you can hook your computer up to your big screen if you have one and watch it like you would any other game.

Just run an hdmi from the computer graphics card to your HDTV and it will make it another monitor and therefore you may move the actual video to that screen with the mouse and enlarge to fit the screen, freakin awesome. You might have to change the output settings of the audio card to output to the secondary device, but it works like a charm.

In the Des Moines area, ESPN Gameplan is in the 530 channel range. Several years ago when I still had Mediacom, I called into Customer Service and had no problems ordering GamePlan.

However, you won't need GamePlan if you are in the Des Moines area, as the Nebraska game will be on Mediacom digital channel 245.
