BigWillie
http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=ap-g...ov=ap&type=lgns I'm sure as some of you have read, Adidas and Reebok are combining their companies of sorts to compete with Nike. Since I'm not up on the sponsorship of Adidas and UNL, as well as anything to do with business, I'm wondering how this affects universities as well as pro athletes who have endorsements deals with these two companies? Huskerfan66
Yes Wisconsin is still with Adidas, as well as UCLA...I dont think it will make a difference at all since adidas bought reebok, not reebok bought adidas. Quote Link to comment
big poppa
I believe Reebok is one of the chief NFL sponsors...coaches apparel, etc....big impact there. Should not impact Husker athletics unless they decide to get out to fhte sponsorship business. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan66
Yes, the NFL is where this news really matters. I am pretty sure all of the uniforms in the NFL are made by Reebok. The decision won't have an impact on college ball because of very little teams usuing reebok, but you could see some minor changes coming in the NFL. Quote Link to comment
turkwilliams
Hey fellas... Adidas and Reebok will continue to operate as seperate companies. They will be working together on a new clothing line (shirts, pants) but still will be marketing shoes seperately. Quote Link to comment

Was this brought on because of Russia and China working together to beat the Americans in the Olympics? Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
Adidas is the best ... EVER. Are you RUN DMC? Quote Link to comment
indianahusker
As long as they don't try to change the uniforms again, it makes no difference to me...although I did like the jerseys, just not the white pants...Only in Nebraska, huh? Quote Link to comment

Didn't Tenn. change to those crappy looking uniforms also? Those were by far the worst pants ever. All white uniforms suck. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan66
Yeah, Tennessee goes white on white on the road. I haye it, much rather have the dark colored pants on the road. Quote Link to comment
