Would Pelini have landed Suh?

 

 

This has an historical answer:

 

every div1 team had a shot at suh out of high school.

 

and bo didn't land him.

 

As far as I know, he didn't even try to.

 

Like I previously stated. John Blake recruited him.

All this crap that BC recruited great athletes is a little off base.

 

He had some great recruits, many stars, but most left, never played, never contributed.

 

He brought in kids in large numbers.

 

If you look at his classes before the losses of those super stars, he averaged around a 3 star level. This was normally down around the 10th to 15th level. Meaning he had more lower level talent and had more athlets to figure into the total.

 

His recruiting was average at best. But worst of all it was mostly lies.

 

Bo will be fine in recruiting. He will figure it out, he had and AD that will be invovled is my guess.

 

He has put two top defensive players int he NFL, with Dorsey and now Suh, who continously pile praise on him and Carl.

 

That gets around quickly.
