People seem to forget that many good players have come through NU from the juco ranks. So what, NU found one colossal clunker at QB, and that means we should scratch jucos from the program entirely? That is ridiculously short sighted.

 

As long as coaches don't panic and go all Ron Prince on signing day, then JC players are actually beneficial to your program. But just like HS recruits, sometimes they don't pan out. That has been the case so far with Zac Lee. But in the future when NU does bring in another JC QB, hopefully he will be evaluated better and developed properly. And then who knows, he might even become another Husker all-Big12 selection.
