cb1954
Second year in a row the wife has picked more bowl winners than me, and she picks on team colors, where they are from, mascots, who she does or does not like etc. Some of the teams she never even heard of. Quote Link to comment

SaturnDrew
Second year in a row the wife has picked more bowl winners than me, and she picks on team colors, where they are from, mascots, who she does or does not like etc. Some of the teams she never even heard of. I play a pick'em game with my sister, her husband, and their dog. The dog will pick a theme every week "Teams that have a mascot as a dog, teams that are the heaviest underdogs, etc." Proud to say I beat all of them this season. Bowls are so hard to predict. I was only 4 games over .500 in my picking, but probably only because I missed picking the first 4-5 games of the bowl season that were complete shockers. One thing I have noticed, but haven't statistically proven is that typically the team/coach with the most bowl experience seems to do better and step up to the challenge. Quote Link to comment
