jimk Posted January 15, 2010 Share Posted January 15, 2010 Was listening to Todd and Tyler this morning and Todd had an interesting take on maybe slowing these coaching changes down. If an athlete transfers schools he has to sit out a year. Why not make coaches do the same? They pull a number out, 5 years I believe it was, that if a coach is there shorter than that time period and changes jobs he's got to sit out a year, longer than that he doesn't have to. I dunno what I think of this just found it interesting. It would make coaches less apt to change and maybe protect students or at least give them more assurance that their coach will stay with them.
