HuskerNMO
Very easy to see why. Hostile crowd. First game away from home. Freshman QB. Not able to stop 2 lower level teams at times Fumble problems, supposed to be raining. Nothing proven to this point Dropping in the polls. I think we just run the ball at them until they drop. If we can hold on to the ball against BCS level talent we should win going away. If we have fumbling problems we lose. Hey DaveH!!!! It won't be hostile. Who cares? Worked OK for Michigan. And Florida in 2006. They were stopped when it was important. Rain gives the running team (us) the advantage. Proven to lose to BYU. Who cares about the polls? It will be Martinez first road game, Husky stadium is a hostile environment Most teams struggle in their first road game Florida in 2006? You mean when their senior QB Chris Leak was the starter? All SEC and BCS Title game offensive MVP Chris Leak? They were stopped when the D felt like playing Rain actually gives the passing team the advantage slightly, sure it's a bit harder to throw the ball, but the WR knows where he's going and the DB doesn't. Slipping DB's equals big plays (see Niles Paul vs MU) BYU has proven over the years they win big games, NU still has a ways to go Polls really don't mean much, agreed. Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Either we lose an early fumble and fall into one of those paralyzing nightmares, or it's Huskers 38 - 17 with Locker padding his stats in the fourth quarter. Obviously hoping for the latter. Quote Link to comment
