Husker Runner
#13 Texas (8-4 overall, 3-1 Big 12) at #3 Nebraska (13-1 overall, 5-0 Big 12) When: Saturday, October 2nd, 3:30pm CT Where: NU Coliseum, Lincoln, Nebraska TV: FSN (national broadcast!) Video Webcast: NONE Audio Webcast: CLICK HERE Live Stats: CLICK HERE Texas fell out of the top 10 two weeks ago for the first time in 62 weeks of the poll. After losing two stars to graduation (Destinee Hooker and Ashley Engle) who led the Longhorns to the NCAA Championship game where they lost in five sets to powerhouse Penn State, Texas also lost a #1 national recruit (Bailey Webster) to injury before the season started. The Longhorns are super-talented but struggling to find their identity this season, and have had persistent passing problems. However, they are talented enough to challenge anybody on any night, and knocked off #9 Iowa State in their last match. This will be a good test for a Husker team that is plagued with slow starts in matches this season. Quote Link to comment

She always seemed to kill us. Quote Link to comment

Husker Runner
Nebraska takes the first set 25-20. Texas with quite a few service errors, and their passing woes continue. Quote Link to comment

Husker Runner
Nebraska wins S4 25-20 to win the match 3-1. Some communication issues at times and the first set especially would have been a lot closer if Texas hadn't killed themselves with service errors, but a pretty good match all around for Nebraska. Killer match for Delano. Also some nice play from Broekhuis. We'll need her to be clicking by tournament time so it's good to see her stepping up today. Quote Link to comment
