Had the ball on the 20 with 8 seconds left down by 2, and instead of kicking the FG they THREW AN INTERCEPTION!!!! Damn I wanted to see those purple puffers get it in the end today!!! cubhusker23
Dude I missed it. I would love to see those purple pansies lose every remaining game on their schedule. Quote Link to comment

DaveH
Yup. So far I think that is up there for all time bone head calls. How do you not just work the ball to the center of the field on that down, then kick one to win the game. Quote Link to comment

Yea, because that always works too. *remembers the Bronco game in Jacksonville last year* Quote Link to comment

But it doesn't make sense to throw for 6 when you are on the 25 and you need 3 points to win. Does Marshall not have a kicker? Quote Link to comment

You can second guess these kinds of calls all day long if you'd like, but the coach had a reason to do it. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
I can't believe i got up at 9:30 am to watch the game like that. Snyder (Marshall's coach) will get ripped by the fans for that all week long, if not all season Quote Link to comment
