GoMocs1
Good afternoon, In case yall haven't heard, supposedly we, the Chattanooga Mocs of the FCS Southern Conference, will be playing at Nebraska next year. You may now make plans for Taylor Martinez to win the Heisman next season. Why do I say this? We played at Oklahoma in 2008, Sam Bradford won the Heisman. We played at Alabama in 2009, Mark Ingram won the Heisman. We are playing at Auburn in two weeks, Cam Newton barring an injury is going to win the Heisman for 2010. We are going to play Nebraska in 2011, supposedly to start the season. Will Taylor Martinez keep the streak going? Oh, other good news, when we played Oklahoma, Alabama they were number one in the country, looks like Auburn will be number one on Nov 6 when we play them, so, enjoy number one also next year at least for a week! GO Mocs! Just don't hurt any of us and don't let the check bounce! 1 Quote Link to comment

knapplc
I know we had to add a team to our schedule, since we only had six home games and we need seven for budget, but I hadn't heard anything about this. Any source for this rumor? Quote Link to comment
GoMocs1
Corrected the misspelling! Its our money game, heard it will be first game of the season. Source? We have a leaky athletic department. It has been outed on our message board, www.mocfans.com awhile back. I had heard the rumor before it was outed. I am one of the two admins to our board, stop by next year and talk the game, we welcome other team posters as long as you come to talk, not smack. It is not finalized yet, but supposedly the draft contract is being reviewed. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Well, welcome to the schedule. Tell us about the Mocs. Quote Link to comment
GoMocs1
We have been through a period where we were extremely bad, only won five games in three years. Booted the coach after 2008, hired a guy named Russ Huesman, Moc alum and was the Richmond DC when they won the FCS National Championship in 2008. We went 6-5 last year, and are 5-2 this year, top twenty in FCS polls. Two loses were to top two teams in polls by a total of five points. We have a handful of guys who are getting NFL looks, couple DBs, the QB, a lineman. Our QB is legit, was a four star out of high school, BJ Coleman, went to UT Knoxville, disagreed with Lane Kiffin, transferred back home, he is from Chattanooga and his dad played with our coach. He will be back next year. Most famous alumni: Terrell Owens. Yes, that TO. Current NFL players: TO and Eldra Buckley, running back on Philadelphia Eagles. Can we beat you? If we have the game of our lifetime and you guys overlook us it could be competitive if we get every break, otherwise, hope nobody gets hurt and the check doesn't bounce! Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
are you disappointed or excited that you are playing a big 10 team instead of a big 12 team? Quote Link to comment
GoMocs1
are you disappointed or excited that you are playing a big 10 team instead of a big 12 team? Let's see, the Big 12 has ten teams, the Big Ten has 12 teams. We are just ol southern boys but we know how to count! Seems like yall have problems counting! We come from the Southern Conference, all the teams are from the south. Next thing you will tell me is that the Atlanta NFL team is in the NFC West division! Nebraska is one of those storied programs that is a honor to play, like Oklahoma, Penn St, Alabama, Texas, Notre Dame, etc. Just don't run it up on us please! Quote Link to comment

UGAHusker
Think Terrell Owens will make it out for the game? Think about it, T.O. and T.O. at the same stadium at the same time. Quote Link to comment
