n.e.husker
Yeah, you've heard some things about Brion Carnes. You are likely aware by now that he's the second cousin of Tommie Frazier. And just like Tommie, he starred as a quarterback at Manatee High School in Bradenton, Fla. Some might even recall his dramatic recruiting switch to Nebraska the night before last year's national signing day after it looked he was destined for Western Kentucky. After signing, Carnes said: "My goals and dreams are to push for a BCS championship, try to contend for a Heisman Trophy." These are the little nuggets of knowledge recited about Carnes. The rest? Well, the rest has been hidden from view. Since joining the program, he's spent a year-and-a-half studying Nebraska's offensive system, operating the scout team's offense last fall, impressing coaches with his want to learn. He's been written about some, talked about some, wondered about some. But hardly anyone outside the program has actually seen Carnes in action. That will change Saturday. http://huskerextra.com/sports/football/article_31c79b4f-ef3a-5c18-881c-9b47dcde146d.html Quote Link to comment

Blaze1up
If he's coming in as the backup QB what happened to being a wideout ? Wait that was Jamal Turner, nevermind. Quote Link to comment
