Rhode Island vs. Nebraska

Well let's see here. Rhode Island had scored 90 in both of their games this year, including on the mighty, unbeatable, god's gift to basketball Texas, and to hold them to 63 is great. And it was a very frustrating 63 including a lot against the youngsters that played the majority of the last 12 minutes.

NU had under 13 turnovers. When was the last time that could be said. Ball control is so critical with this team.

Talley, as I said during the USC game, could really be an X factor for this squad. He has the best looking shot on the team and can knock down the 15 footer all day. If he can continue to play at a high level, he could be the perimeter scoring stud that this team has lacked for years.

NU's defense will keep them in most every game, especially at home. How they play and what production they can get in the paint may ultimately determine their fate. Oregon will tell us more about this years version of Nebrasketball

Pretty much lights-out effort and execution............as good as a Doc team has looked this early....................surely hope it's a harbinger for the future with a tough stretch of non-cons just ahead. Especially, Creighton who looks very good. Should be fun.............
