If he did this to my car i would have asked him to autograph it and laughed about it. He has no criminal history. Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
I have no idea about any of this, but... "felony and misdemeanor malicious destruction of property" Do you know what all happened? It sounds like more than just trying to slide across the hood of a car and accidentally damaging it. Quote Link to comment

Man, Michigan can't seem to catch a break, can they MM? And if the kid is clean as you say and this was just him being a kid on his 21st, the charges do sound rather excessive. Just let him pay for repairs and be done w/it. Quote Link to comment

Blocking sidewalk - I think his car was parked at the end of the drive way, blocking the sidewalk. Or he is reeeeeely wide. Quote Link to comment

EbylHusker
I would certainly not be pleading to a lesser charge if they tried to nail me with a felony for "malicious" property destruction if what you are saying is really true. I'd love to see them try to make that stick in court. Quote Link to comment

Easier just to take the deal and move on, stupid though this charge appears to be. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Michigan defensive tackle Will Campbell was sentenced to three months of probation and one day of community service for damaging a car hood back in April. The best part of the sentencing was when judge Chris Easthope asked Campbell, "Have you taken a physics class? Do you know what happens when 308 pounds slides across thin metal?"
