I don't know if anyone knew how big of a coup this was to steal her from Wiscy. But she was a very, very good get. Quote Link to comment
hosker
What a great way to start the season. Two sweeps and a really tough win, and learning experience, against one of the best teams in the nation. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment

I wonder if the backlash from the basketball player vs Bo Ryan left a public stink they didn't want to revisit? Quote Link to comment

I wonder if the backlash from the basketball player vs Bo Ryan left a public stink they didn't want to revisit? It wasn't really a "release." If it was, she would've had to sit out due to the transfer rules. The only way around that is if the National Letter of Intent is declared null and void. She wasn't a transfer. Rereading the NLI provisions a letter is "null and void" in the case where -Player is not admitted (was told this isn't it) -Player is not certified by the clearinghouse (in which case she wouldn't play at NU either) -School is dropping the sport (not likely) -One year absence/military or religious mission (not enough time) -A recruiting violation had occurred by the school issuing the letter.
