I thought the offensive line did a decent job against that defense. Obviously they did something right with the rushing yards we racked up against them. Preconceived opinion. Another one. Wont be happy until it's the '94 offensive line. Even that wont be good enough with out a crystal ball. Even with that, there would be something wrong I guess. Yes, the offensive line has done work. I love how one or two missed assignments that no one else in the country has problems with(sarcasm) is spun into "fire Barney" chants. I just wish that they would realize that probably half of those supposed "missed assignments" are guys being left unblocked purposely and it's the backs making wrong reads. Beck also said after the Penn St. game that we have been shown many looks by the defenses in the last 5 games that they saw zero evidence of on previous film. He seemed reluctant to use it as an excuse or reason for the slow offensive starts, but it does seem like reasonable logic to explain that it has been taking a full half to adjust.
