Obviously Bama was way better but ND did get screwed on back to back calls. Refs botched a third down pass conversion (who knew at the time that might be one of the only third down conversions ND would see) and the muffed punt recovered by ND where they called interference on the ND player was garbage. ND would have had a big play there and at least some momentum. Bama still would have won big but those were huge momentum plays ND absolutely had to have in a game like this. It was basically all downhill for ND after that. I was surprised Kelly did not go all red face and argue. I know Bo and the HuskerBoard faithful would have been all over those.
