nebraskafaninwi
http://www.ncaa.org/...ing%20proposals They suspended the provisions on who can recruit and what printed materials can be sent to recruits. They're leaving the unlimited calling/texting up to the override, where they will review it if 75 schools request an override by March 20. So far they're at about 48. Quote Link to comment
KJ.
What do you think the implications of this are, WI? Quote Link to comment
zoogs
That's one of the big ones, wasn't it? No unlimited auxiliary recruiting staffs. Schools need their coaching staffs to be good recruiters. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
I hate the idea of these kids being able to be contacted and "harassed" by recruiters. Its not like they don't get it enough with the limit. Let these kids enjoy their Senior year, and focus on football and school work. Quote Link to comment

If a kid doesn't want to talk he doesn't have to. But they implemented this rule in basketball and it really seemed to cut down on the garbage with slimeballs that hang around these kids and take advantage of them for their own benefit under the guise of "mentors" and "advisors". The ones they got rid of are the ones that would really have affected recruiting in a very big way. Quote Link to comment
