Bo Pelini on Spread Offenses

Recommended Posts

I think those were some wise words between those two that illustrate the difficulties in an evolving college football game. I wonder if it will make full circle and in 15 years the new trend will lean towards power football again

I have a friend that coaches in the San Antonio area

All the HS teams they play agains are Spread Teams

He has gone old school big Power Football and has cleaned up

He is a guy who will probably be in the TX HS Hall of Fame- has won State Title in Largest class

Yes he told me he was going "contrarian" by being a power football team where he lives

I would say Alabama was more of a Power Football team than anything last season.

Hopefully it isnt 15 years away
