HBO Go and Smart TV

Recommended Posts

Is Prism TV available out there yet? I've been thinking about giving it a try but lately only seem to actually watch tv for Husker Football and a few movies... I'm tempted to just get a few of those indoor antennas from Costco and maybe get each TV it's own cheap laptop with wi-fi and just watch Hulu plus or jasontv for movies and the several dozen broadcast tv stations (I've heard) locally out here in AZ

I have a couple of these: http://www.amazon.com/Mohu-Leaf-Paper-Thin-Indoor-Antenna/dp/B004QK7HI8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1388499930&sr=8-1&keywords=leaf+antenna

They look basically the same. They work great. Far better than a big antenna on a roof and worlds better than rabbit ears.

Update. Went the Chromecast route and it works like a champ. Shout out to carl for the $35 solution.

It's a bit redundant for a smart tv but was required due to comcast being stupid dicks. After seeing what Chromecast can do, I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to convert a regular tv to much of the functionality of a smart tv.

Also a shout out to my employees for providing the Best Buy gift cards that covered the Chromecast purchase.

Glad to hear. Lame that you had to do a workaround like that for a smart TV.

I'm in sort of similar situation where DirecTV doesn't support WatchESPN or HBOGo on Roku.

I almost got one today..Forgot to bring an extra pair of glasses so it was too hard to read the fine print on the box..

I assume it's impractical/cumbersome to hook more than one TV to each antenna ...but costco has them for under $40 each..
