I'd like to have seen the maximum for this.The disgusting thing, at least as far as the legal system is concerned, is that we should be thankful he was even prosecuted at all. Prosecuting corrupt politicians is the exception, not the rule. People like this, including business leaders, who betray the public trust or misuse public funds should be held to the highest standards, the most accountability. Instead, they're the ones most likely to avoid prosecution entirely.Meanwhile, our prisons are choked with people brought up on marijuana offenses. Link to comment
