  1. 90% of the crowd would give a standing ovation. This whole thing is nothing more than proof of the ultra thin skin that Trump has. If he doesn't get control of that, it's going to limit greatly his effectiveness as a leader. I agree wt the bold. As I stated, Pence handled the situation better than Trump did. Trump has yet to enter into the adult political stage. He just turned 70. Let's cut the guy some slack. He's still maturing. You got it. Some people take a bit longer!! I don't see any change in Trump - he is what he is and will remain the same. I'm only hoping the adults will 'channel' him correctly. Everyone - have a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm away for a while. America is bigger than one election or one man ( I think Obama has said something similar recently in reassuring our foreign friends). So enjoy your turkey & don't start family wars over politics. Go Big Red - beat Iowa. Go Minny, beat Wisc also. Usually, but this was the biggest one ever. Thankfully, the good guys won. What a sh**ty kind of post to make in response to this. People vote based on what they think will be best for the country. It's not good vs. evil. There are good/evil Republicans/Democrats. Certainly not everyone on Trump's team is good nor is everyone on his team evil. Also, people think everyone election is the most important. But we can never know what what have happened if the other candidate won. Regardless, this was a sh#t response to someone saying Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Great post!!! Great! Also, it was rather fitting that I am "thankful" on the "Thanksgiving" post for the good guys winning, no?! TGH made a great post and then you decided to be a troll He did. And my response was on point. Take it to the shed, though. I'll be sure to not join you there.

in a nuclear war. We discussed my bill to end our country’s illegal war to overthrow the Syrian government, and the need to focus our precious resources on rebuilding our own country, and on defeating Al Qaeda, ISIS and other terrorist groups who pose a threat to the American people.”

  5. Fillon in an upset! Looking more likely that Le Pen will make it 3-for-3!

  6. Apparently Bannon went to Hamilton last night. I love the world.
  7. One word to describe Nebraska's Special Teams this year....."special"

  8. Haha...dupe threads and self-reporting. Yet another symptom of... Trump's America!
  9. Is this thread any different from the thread of the exact same name that was started six days ago?
  10. This is great advice. While moving from machines to free weights seems like the logical progression, it can actually be a shift that is orders of magnitude different when it comes to difficulty. Doing dumbbell curls isn't going to break the bank, but so many free weight exercises require a degree of balance/balancing the weight if not skill that makes them feel quite different from machine exercises (thankfully, in my opinion at least, sometimes they feel easier!) Try not to mimic the same weight loads with free weights that you have worked up to on machines until you feel as though you are developing the exercise-specific balance and coordination that many exercises require to be performed in a safe manner that also maximizes their respective benefits and utility. EDIT: And please for the love of everything that is good...use bar clips with all barbell free weight exercises. I have been working out for years and will still get fatigued or lose my balance at times; without clips, the end result would be...bad. These will help you immensely as you work on form and balance and will also get you in a great gym habit.
  11. So, if Michigan comes back to win the MNC, does South Dakota State claim the title as TRUE champion? :)

I've got a better one; What if Michigan wins the MNC and the Huskers go to the Rose Bowl? Do we whine and complain endlessly that we should've been the champs and Michigan accuses us of running off to the Rose Bowl and not facing them? I would say karma but Husker fans would'nt be that delusional.

      ^^^^

Interesting scenario. I think the response would depend on which team secured more electoral votes :)

But Illinois State beat South Dakota State and Youngstown State beat them! Bo Pelini!

  12. Intentional oxymoron(s)? You're picking the wrong part to focus on. nah
  13. Unfortunately, opportunists and hoaxers come out of the woodwork, casting suspicion on possibly legitimate offenses. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/muslim-student-attacked-university-of-louisiana-lafayette_us_58227f5fe4b0d9ce6fbfc2b1 "Police Say Woman Made Up Story Of Attack By Two Men, One Wearing A Trump Hat (UPDATE)"
  14. ^^^^ There are already pictures, reports, etc. of charter buses pulling up and hundreds of protesters jumping out. Obviously, this doesn't represent everyone involved, but, unfortunately, it's definitely happening.
  15. Protesting is an important activity that enables people to engage in a civic manner and express opinions. I am generally all for them (well, at least I'm not "against" them) as long as there is not violence or property destruction. Unfortunately, protests of this era are oftentimes not led or organized by those who are truly concerned as much as they are bankrolled or led by outside or "larger" forces/entities. We have seen this with much of the protests over the last 1.5 years and also with what has happened at many of the Trump rallies. Entities paid for/organized by groups such as MoveOn or from any of George Soros' "nonprofit" organizations. That being said, seeing these people get bused into areas, on the payroll (if they're lucky!) of some tax-exempt (laughable) NGO, solely to cause chaos or to create fear in order to accomplish some kind of objective (that is oftentimes unrelated to what the stated topic of the protests are) is really a slap in the face to protesters and organizers of previous generations. Also, so many of the individual protesters are viewed and treated solely as pawns.
  16. As much as I like the "feel-good" documentaries focusing on the good works of former players' lives ex. Berringer, Foltz, I am much more intrigued by this. Could really help to start putting some of the pieces together.
