Mavric
To call it anything but a slow start cannot be anything more than wishful thinking. We're currently #36 according to the 247 Composite. No one ahead of us has fewer commits than we do. Only five schools in the Top 50 have fewer commits than we do. And that's a vast improvement from where we were two weeks ago. Last year at this time we were only a couple days away from our eighth commit and that was a great start (for us) Now whether it's a surprise that we're off to a slow start or not can be debated. I don't think it's a surprise at all. Nebraska is usually slow picking up commits and that would only be expected to be worse with a staff change. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a slow start. 1 Quote Link to comment
Treand3
Slow start? Compared to our peers, yes. Late start for a team that has to recruit nationally with a newly staff, not surprising. Quote Link to comment
cornographic
Two thoughts: It's ok that Riley has no commits for the 2015 cycle because he likes to build relationships with players or he might be having trouble getting commits. The latter, slow start, absolutely. Quote Link to comment
