NUance
Despite tough offseason, recruiting class has NU's Miles in good mood POSTED: MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2015 3:57 PM | UPDATED: 4:20 PM, MON APR 20, 2015. By Lee Barfknecht / World-Herald staff writer LINCOLN — For a guy who hasn’t won a basketball game since Feb. 3, Nebraska coach Tim Miles’ mood on Monday was pretty chipper. Not even saying goodbye to All-Big Ten wing Terran Petteway, who is leaving for the NBA draft, or seeing assistant coach Chris Harriman leave for New Mexico over the weekend soured his outlook. The source of Miles’ optimism is a five-man recruiting class currently ranked in the top 25 to 30 nationally, and that’s without factoring in Kansas transfer Andrew White III and recent signee Bakari Evelyn from Detroit. <snip> Getting the most attention among Nebraska signees are two Chicagoans in ESPN’s Top 75 — point guard Glynn Watson and forward Ed Morrow, who recently was in Florida playing with a U.S. national team. LINK I'm pretty excited about the new guys too. This could be the class that jumpstarts things. Definitely one of the best recruiting classes we've had. Maybe *the* best. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Last year was a bad season. But, everything else around the program is positive. Yes, we need to replace a good assistant, but, we have good recruits coming in and a chance to bring in an even better assistant. Nobody is in a better position to be pumping up where Nebraska Basketball is than Miles. Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
Also ... Nobody is in a better position to be has more to gain from pumping up where Nebraska Basketball is than Miles. Absolutely!!! That's why I wouldn't expect any other reaction to where Nebraska Basketball is right now. Quote Link to comment
