BigRedBuster
Let's see, Grant Wistrom is 40 years old. He should be having a kid be a senior in HS soon....shouldn't he? Quote Link to comment
HANC
The scary things is that Iowa has traditionally taken lower ranked guys and turned them into extremely "solid" def. lineman. Heck , last year, they were 1 play away from winning the Big10 and at one time, 3 of the 4 on the front line were 8 man players in HS. They took a 2* kid from SWI and he became a 3 year starter and was solid. Not to mention how they always win in the trenches. When they do get a highly ranked kid, he typically becomes an All-American. I hate it, but that staff gets more from their talent than most schools. 2 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I know he's a Hawkeye legacy and thus we had no chance but ... dang ... someone like this would have been handy. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
