Flood
And he's having a GAME. Wish we'd scored some more TD's though. That is concerning, Quote Link to comment

True2tRA
That's why you don't judge a player or coaching staff after one game That's why you don't come to a message board and call a kid out for missing a few kicks. The greatest kickers of all times miss kicks. Just another stupid thing that I get to laugh at. Quote Link to comment
Flood
That's why you don't judge a player or coaching staff after one game Completely agree. The criticism was staggering, but unwarranted. He looked amazing today. Now, about the secondary . . . Quote Link to comment

admo
5 for 5 in first half.... tied an NCAA record. Sure he missed a long 51 yarder, those are not automatic for all kickers. Last one was blocked Quote Link to comment
Husker NoNo
I will grant that he played well. Perhaps we shouldn't get too excited after one game as well. Quote Link to comment
Sargon
Hopefully Drew has put the hooks behind him. They need to be gone. Then, he needs to aim dead straight rather than right. Draws and fades will work but hooks will miss. There is no way to aim if you are trying to get both straight and hook shots through the posts. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
5 for 5 in first half.... tied an NCAA record. Sure he missed a long 51 yarder, those are not automatic for all kickers. Last one was blocked And the 51 yarder had plenty of leg on it. Would have been good from at least 6-7 yards longer ... assuming it was between the uprights, of course. Quote Link to comment
