HuskerMan
Can anyone tell me how many seats there are per row in the East or West stadium sections? Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Not enough. My butt checks can about cover 2 seat numbers. If there are 40, there really is only room for about 32. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMan
I have a choice of seat 8 or 26 tomorrow in west stadium. Am not sure which one is closer to the end of the row. Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
You won't need to worry. It is not crowded in the spring games so plenty of room. If not, simply move to a better seat with fewer neighbors. There may be ticketed seats but you will be able to move about. Seating for 80,000 and only 60,000 there. That's plenty of extra spaces. Half the people probably don't sit in their assigned seats in the spring game. Quote Link to comment

I think the original measurement for a "seat" was figured back during the Great Depression when nobody had anything to eat and everybody's ass was about 5 inches wide. Now an average serving size for lunch in Lincoln is two Runzas and 3 Fairbury Franks. There is no way those seats are an actual seat size. If they put real individual seats in Memorial Stadium (like with arms and backs) then the seating capacity wouldn't be anywhere near what they claim. With real seats Memorial Stadium would probably lose more than 10% of its capacity (of course that would be true for any stadium in college football). Quote Link to comment
