seaofred92
DNP Coaches Decision tonight. My goodness how far this kid seems to have fallen in terms of confidence. Never thought we'd be at the point where he wouldn't even see the floor but can't argue with the results. Between him and Fuller it's really disappointing to have 2 scholarships going to guys who seemingly won't be providing an impact the remainder of this season 1 Quote Link to comment
Doublespeak
To be honest, between Fuller, McVeigh and Jacobson there isn't much to hope for besides some fill in minutes. McVeigh hasn't been good at all and watching him in that two minute drill against who I can't remember but every time he touches the ball I wince because of his poor shooting and inability to dribble. Jacobson occasionally makes good hustle plays, on loose balls or around the rim but when Indiana switched to the 2-3 and he was the key to beating it, you saw how completely useless he is and inadequate at the D-1 level. Roby came in and showed how you beat the zone and I really hope he keeps getting better as the year goes on, along with Horne and Gill (next season). Quote Link to comment
pearljammer
You hate to see a kid like that not even see the court but it's all about production. I'd get as much time for Roby, Jordy T & Horne as possible and just use Jacobsen and McVeigh as filler. Excited about the talent we have. As Kevin Garnett would say, Anything Is Possible!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyjOy7fRzs0 Quote Link to comment
Huskball
Everyone was saying the same thing about Webster for 2 1/2 years - I think McVeigh will find his shooting role. Jacobson just needs to stop trying to prove that he is a 3 point scorer and be the glue/hustle guy. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
It was nice seeing him on the bench cheering & celebrating with the team. Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
Got into the game for a little today but didn't contribute much. It's great to see him still engaged and into the game on the sidelines though, we will need Jack at some point this season Quote Link to comment
