It would lead to a thread with 100 posts. Republicans would blame Obama for "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah" and claim it's proof that he's a terrorist-loving socialist. Democrats would counter that well, yes, we did support "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah" but it was only because Bush left the country in such a mess that emergency "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah" was necessary, for the children. The Libertarian would write a 5000 word post with documented and linked references detailing why the government should never be involved in "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah" and that there isn't any real difference between Republicans and Democrats because they both want to socialize "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah", just one party wants rich people to pay for it and the other wants poor people to pay for it. No one would read past the first sentence and the poster would immediately be branded as a loon. Insults will be tossed back and forth. A reference to Hitler will be made. Finally, the thread will be locked, and the argument started all over again in a new thread about "etc etc etc etc". Quote Link to comment
