Jeremy Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 I see everyone talking about a Bo Pelini Curse, but, he only accomplished as much as Callahan ever did - getting to, but losing a conference title game. Pelini did win 9 a year, but couldn't break The Curse. As mentioned before, that's the worst thing about it - the means of breaking said Curse are unknown. I saw a suggestion of burning Lil' Red at mid-field at midnight on 11/23, and I actually like the sound of that. Preferably just the suit with no one in it. The Curse of Black Friday starts on Black Friday 2001 for the simple fact that going into this game, Nebraska was Nebraska. Big, tough, elite. After the shellacking, our beloved program was either transformed into or exposed as a weak shell of its former greatness, and 18 years later, here we are. Quote Link to comment
