  1. Compton beaten to the spot...again. Ugh, I can't wait for the speed at LB to get here.
  2. NCAA 12. My Minnesota dynasty. Winning 4 championships in a row with Nebraska gets a bit boring after a while.
  3. First real game in almost 2 years. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
  4. A blue ribbon on the helmet or uniform would be more in place than a blue N.
  5. Yep. Paterno is just the first of many to fall. Boosters, police, politicians. This has just begun. This is starting to rival the Franklin Sex Scandal out of Omaha.
  6. Their about face is idiotic to say the least, way to play the field. But reading the report and putting all emotion aside you can not say with any certainty what Joe was told by the GA and if he new the gravity of what he was told. It's not an excuse but it sounds like he heard enough to know that someone higher needed to be informed of it, and he maybe justed wanted to wash his hands of it and keep his nose clean. There just isn't enough detail in the report from the GA or Paterno to draw a definitive conclusion about what was said. Either way it's just really disgusting and disturbing to read. The BoT either knew more than they are telling, or they are just trying to save face and everyone that acted questionably is going. He stated that he was told something of a sexual nature occurred between a 58 year old and a 10 year old. *shrug* Which he reported. The way it's worded in the report makes it sound like he was confused or shocked about what he was told. But again it's pretty vague. Can you really blame him for wanting to wash his hands of something like that? I think it's pretty safe to say that if most people didn't witness the event themselves they would want to do what they were obligated to do and get as far away from it as possible. If he truly wanted to wash his hands of the situation Sandusky wouldn't have been constantly allowed to use football resources. If Paterno really wanted nothing more to do with the situation why was Sandusky allowed in closed practices accompanied by a young boy later in the decade? Why was Sandusky allowed to run an over night football camp on PSU practice fields in 2009?
  7. Sounds like people in the surround communities are coming in drives to get to the riots. The National Guard should probably be called in, fast.
  8. Lunardi is pretty high on Nebraska. He has them in his 1st 4 teams out in the first Bracketology.
  9. It seems like there isn't the super star type player in the conference this season. A.J. McCarron yawn. Jarret Lee Yawn. Florida still can't find a starter. Lattimore is out for the season. Past seasons you get Mt. Cody, Cam Newton, Fairley, Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Tebow. After Trent Richardson I really don't get excited about anyone else in the conference. Tons of talent this season, but no one stands out like in former seasons.
  10. Not terribly similar. Cain is running for president EVERYTHING in you past comes out. Penn St. was under investigation for 3 years by the state of Pennsylvania and they just announced their findings.
  11. Yeah. I didn't have a real sense of the gravity of the situation until I read it.
  12. Sandusky ran an over night football camp for kids on Penn St's campus in 2009. I don't under stand how they let that happen...
