Great game by the blackshirts. Interesting how the line stood on 3rd downs with Eric Martin.
  2. Its true that we have had some trouble on defense against accurate mobile quarterbacks. Which is exactly why I'm not worried, as long as our team continues to make progress.
  3. I read somewhere that students were randomly "Suh"-ing (he was at the game) and that the announcers incorrectly thought it was boo-ing...
  4. Playcalling is very important to the success of this team on offense. Not only must we force defenses to respect our passing game enough to loosen up on the run, we must also call enough designed quarter back runs / zone reads for the defenses to respect Taylor's running ability. Only then is our multiple offensive approach really effective.
  5. Right? :rolls eyes: A friend of a friend maybe? Some cousin you knew? Sounds like sour grapes to me. Whenever you lose, someone has to come on here and in their anger turn the attention to the fanbase of the team that just vanquished them...how terrible they were...how (insert winning fanbase) "they threw beer at us and spit at us and it was terrible." So typical. Your post is false bud. And if it were true; your friend should stop going to CFB games. He obviously is more suited for a Teletubbies concert. dude, his one sentence statement really must've struck a nerve for you to be defensive enough to register to this forum and respond in that manner with your first post.
  6. Hey, Baylor's having success with Robert Griffin III...maybe we should start Ron Kellogg III? Seems like sound logic to me.
  7. David, Turner, and Abdullah played well.
  8. Were we still talking football...or? lol
  9. I think its just as likely that Nebraska explodes out of the gates and Wisconsin has to flounder to catch up.
  10. I think that the Husker defense will likely perform closer, if not up, to preseason expectations on Saturday, with Crick, David, and Dennard all on the field together for the first time this season. The offense has also improved its consistency and execution with each game and looks to be formidable with many talented weapons at its disposal. The Huskers have also had to overcome opponents who punched them in the mouth instead of opponents who might as well have forfeited. These are the reasons why I think it will be a good game and that the Huskers have a good chance of coming away with the win.
