  1. But would you stick a toothpick under your big toe nail and kick a wall as hard as you can....for USC/NU tickets?
  2. Hell yea he was probably pissed. He's been injured and works himself back into playing mode and then hardly gets to play, probably was a little down. BUT the Glenn I know wouldnt run soft because he's mad, he would run harder. His looks of of not caring to me were looks of, dang give me a hole, like someone said in a thread, everytime he got the ball he was faced with no hole cept for a couple of times. I'm sure right now he isnt running as hard as he can because he is still favoring the leg, cause God knows he doesnt want to injure it more. He'll run to avoid hurting it, but he will shake that out. I still think he will be the feature back for 2007. Bet.
  3. can people please keep posting what is happening? ABC in texas isnt worth a sh#t!
  4. Resting the hammy...nothing wrong at all with that...We will all see that Glenn is a force, and will be ALL SEASON LONG! Nevada just happens to have to find out first.
  5. If you're a Glenn fan and this doesnt get you fired up...nothing will. P.S. I'm a slight Glenn fan!
  6. Hype. he has God given talent, but he played in a less than avg league in High School in which he shined. He was overrated and now "isnt living up to his expectations"...when really if he had been in a tougher league to begin with, maybe he wouldnt have been as highly thought of and would have surpassed expectations....could go either way for you. I think he'll have a great year this year...do I think he plays like a 5* player, no. Do I think he's good? yes... Should he carry the ball before Glenn? No. Choo Choo
  7. He's happy because he was promised PT. haha...i'm kidding. Its going to be a good year from #20 and #34! Dang Glenn sounds like a LEADER!
  8. What would people do if Nebraska ran out in SOLID black one game....USC??? That'd be so awesome... Okay...Uni's look fine to me.
  9. I know a coach personally at NU, happens to be Jordan. Hmm... I'll also put myself on a limb and say you're an idiot and Glenn will be t he man. Just wait and see.
  10. Lucky's vision isn't better than Glenn's. There was never people downing Glenn for running up the back of his blockers... or missing the wide open hole. Lucky runs scared...and is so afraid of contact that when he sees (when he finally does use his vision) a crese, he does his best to hit it...unless someone gets a hand on him...then he's going down. Ask Bo Ruud how it feels when you arm tackle Glenn (broken arm before Alamo Bowl).
  11. Lucky and Glenn were both banged up the whole year... As a matter of fact, I remember seeing a coach callahan show where cally praised Lucky for his toughness and ability to play through injuries. Glenn is indecisive in the hole, runs too high up and lets people get at his feet, has shown zero pass catching ability and what will ultimately keep him from ever being as good as a bjax/lucky, can not make people miss in the open field. Its nice to be able to run people over, but doing that slows you down and lets the defense catch up. Even Jerome Bettis could make a cb miss in the open field on a swing pass. Lucky can run though tackles, maybe not quite as well as Glenn, but Lucky can also do more than run through tackles. StuckinChicago Thats just retarded. Glenn was talked about during spring and through out the year for running with his pads down...You must not pay enough attention. The only reason people "get at his feet"...is they only go for his feet...no one wants to go up on Glenn. And I really hate that you say he has zero pass catching ability...HOW MANY PASSES HAVE BEEN THROWN to him? Get a clue...he is either a decoy or runs up the middle. If people are going to down him for not catching the ball...throw him one and let him miss it first. Also...not being able to "make people miss"...how difficult is it when 9 people on the field watch u come in the game and load the box...AND STILL has higher YPC. Come up with more to say next time...and try being right.
  12. Let every RB in College go head up with Carriker.
  13. 160 Yards...but still doesnt wanna "carry the load".
  14. Yay...Lucky is staying.... Now NU has a back in the backfield that "doesnt wanna carry the load", had to be promised PT to get him here in the first place, and now...had to get talked back into staying. Wanna leave...here's a ticket...catch ya on the flip side. Choo - Choo
  15. Never said he was a "truly great blocker"...I never even said he was good...I just said he didnt do too bad of a job. I know Glenn will go head up with a LB though, he thrives on it.
  16. Ridiculous. Glenn. ISU - first carry of the game...39 yarder (got tripped up). Has plenty of speed...but enough power that if you catch him...the job isnt over.
  17. I am so sick of reading about how Lucky and Glenn are bad blockers...neither of the two did a bad job of blocking. Yes...Lucky isn't one to run up at a LB and hit him...he isnt going to...he will get in their way though. Glenn missed 1 block all year...yes one other time his man got past...but was tripped up and didnt make the play (really hate hearing how he cant block...97% of the time he was in, he got the ball). Wilson...horrible blocker.
  18. Me too...Me too. Glenn told me after the season this year..."its going to be hard for any of them to out work me for start position." After playing with him growing up...I believe him...and I dont think Lucky, Wilson nor anyone coming in will be able to out-work Cody for starting IB in 2007.
  19. I personally think it'd be better for him to go. May not be whats best for NU but best for Brandon. Like it was said, the RB class coming out wont be as big and tough...he is hot right now, and gave a great showing. Main reason I think he should go, there is no telling what will happen between now and the end of next season. He has to think about having Marlon Lucky and Cody Glenn behind him...his spot isnt "safe". They could work their ass off in spring and sit him back in 3rd or 4th string. Thats the main reason I think it'd be best for him to go...get out while you're hot and people know you.
  20. Yea...it's pretty predictable....Put Glenn in the backfield and ask ANYONE in the stadium what is coming. haha
  21. Lucky said in an interview...he doesnt want to be a RB that gets the 20 - 30 carries a game... Why would you want him to be the true RB...let him be the guy that touches it 5 or 6 times a game for great yardage and TDs.
