  1. Bnil, I don't get into the left, right, red, blue, Republican, Democrat thing. None of it matters, and i don't like labels. Honestly i voted for Obama in 08 because he was a really smooth talker and preached a positive message. It became pretty evident in his first term he wasn't doing what he said he'd do, so i voted against him.
  2. I simply don't see it the same way as you. I've made my point multiple times in this thread, as well as the Republican election thread, and I'd be better off talking to a plant. It's funny what you say, because that's the only form of response I've gotten. No one knows why they think what they think, but they criticize my views because on this board, they're not popular. It's bullsh*t, but whatever. I'm sorry he's not politically correct enough to fit into the narrow little "presidential" box that people expect him to fit into, but that's exactly his appeal to people right off hand. I've spelled out my understanding of his weaknesses, but his strengths far outweigh his weaknesses IMO. Sorry the radical opinions on this board (or however you could categorize it) don't accept that and decide to respond to me in excessively harsh ways. You people are allowed to have your opinions, but I'm tired of being sh*t on for supporting Trump. I (and millions of others in this country) think that people who support Bernie or Hillary are idiots too, so... Not sure what to say to closed-minded, overly PC people...
  3. I have no idea what kind of garbage some people on this board are reading and watching in order to draw their opinions... It's freaking unreal honestly, and it's a total mind-f*ck on a daily basis...
  4. This is what is happening here: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-12/orlando-shooter-worked-security-company-which-tranports-illegal-immigrants-deep-insi How was a guy who was on a terrorist watch list, was interviewed on 3 separate occasions by the FBI, and whose father publicly praised the Taliban able to not only buy a gun a week before this incident, but also work with a security firm that transports illegal immigrants inside the US?... Yes, it needs to be more difficult to obtain weapons, but I'm very cautious of allowing the government come up with the solution. Anything the government puts their hands on always lacks common sense and logistical application.
  5. No, because your perception of it isn't true. When that situation has happened to him in the past, he doesn't borrow knowing up front that he won't be able to pay back the debt. But sometimes when taking large risks, sh*t happens. I know the average person doesn't want to hear that, but it happens all the time, and not just with Trump. Why? Because these big business people are the job creators. Without them, we would either be a socialist country, or we would simply have even less "good jobs" to go around.
  6. Or calling one out of touch with reality when the other wants to build a two thousand mile long wall... 1. What exactly has Trump flat out lied about and tried to hide? I'd like you to tell me that, because what I observe is that people who oppose Trump take every minor thing he does and blow it out of proportion and try to put it on level playing field with Hillary's garbage. They're not remotely on the same level. 2. I fully believe that when he becomes President, the wall will happen. And even if we get stuck paying for it, it's pennies compared to the trade deficit that he will help fix. Please answer #1. Thank you He lied about making Mexico pay for his wall.He lied about the wall costing $4 billion. He lied about the wall ever being built. That's just off the top of my head. He knows very well that he's not going to do any of this. Yet he alleges they'll happen anyway. Those are lies. LOL So you've got nothing then? Lyin' Donald: 101 Of Trump's Greatest Lies From November, 2015 - Donald Trump’s 8 (Most Recent) Blatant Lies Chronicling Donald Trump’s Lies And pages and pages and pages of more - all with attribution. I haven't read the others yet, but seriously? THIS is what you are basing your opinion of Trump on? I'd like to fact check everyone's life on this board who is criticizing and picking him apart over minute details, all while we've got a person under federal investigation across the way. Here are my views, which I will share with those of you who are berating me for my support of Trump, because frankly, I'm tired of hearing how in love I am with him. 1. Yes, he exaggerates a lot to get his point across. That is something that you just understand and accept when he says things. BTW, that's all that about 75% of the "101 lies" boiled down to - mere exaggeration. Boo Hoo. 2. Yes, his greatest weakness is that much too often he opens his mouth and expresses his opinion or something he has been told without doing his due diligence and fully understanding it. That is one of the main points that the RNC is trying to work with him on, and he absolutely needs to improve in that facet. In the past week, I believe he has already started working on that, and I think he will be just fine in that regard. This is his first time campaigning in the political arena, so he is learning as he goes in a lot of ways. 3. Yes, he has somewhat flawed character. As a Christian, I don't like that he thinks he doesn't need to ask for forgiveness, which speaks to his pride and ego, and I am not fooled one bit by his claim to be a strong Christian. I believe that he is Christian, but he is not firm in his faith and is not well versed in scripture whatsoever. That may be the part of him that I dislike the most, but I think we can compromise here because I know he will be firm and do what he feels is right for the largest amount of people in our country. Along those same lines, I fully understand that he also has a history of somewhat questionable ethics in reference to basically screwing the contractors he hires out of some of the money that he agrees on. Once again, I'm waiting to see the other side to that story to see what actually happened, because the article written was obviously a very slanted hit piece, along the same lines as the Trump University article (which will end up being nothing) and the disrespecting women article (which actually ended up benefitting Trump greatly based on the dishonesty of the article). So if those 3 things are the worst of his skeletons, I'm all in on a Trump presidency, and I feel that he is the strongest candidate I've seen since I've been able to vote. The things he is planning on doing will benefit the common worker, small business owner, and large business owner immensely. That's why I never understand when people view him as an authoritarian or dictator type of leader - because that perception is WAY off base. He is going to bring more power back to the state level like things should be.

  9. Using words he said this morning on TV is a "hit article"? Of course it is. It's the Washington Post, owned by Jeff Bezos, whom Trump has already targeted and threatened to pursue with the legal powers of the presidency over these "hit pieces". Making America Great Again apparently means the erosion of libel laws and the first amendment. If a U.S. President were truly to demonstrate such vindictiveness towards any critical outlet, then we would have become Turkey, and you can bet many will fall into line. If you want to double down and support what he's said, then be my guest and own your positions fully. I assume you're talking to me? Yes, I support what he is saying. He is far from an eloquent speaker, as even his most steadfast supporters would agree. But he is and has been right about a lot of issues during this campaign cycle on a ton of issues that politicians wouldn't dare touch because it's not politically correct to do so. I think he's 100% innocent in the Trump University case, he's not wrong to accuse the judge for bias based on his history of support of undocumented illegal immigrants, he's not racist or a bigot, and he is completely right on his stance about a ban on Syrian refugees. I support nationalism and putting America first, and therefore I support Donald Trump. Furthermore, I believe that Hillary Clinton is an evil, self-serving liar and is completely detached from reality. The Democratic Party would be wise to bar her from the nomination and choose Bernie Sanders instead so they at least have someone with a moral compass representing the party instead of a criminal. The problem is that the Democratic Party has been the largest enabler of her activities, followed closely by the uneducated people who plan to vote for her, as a statement has now been released proving that the Democratic Party interfered with the investigation into Benghazi. Politics in America are dirty beyond some of the worst conspiracy theories, and it all needs cleaned up. We live in the greatest country in the history of the planet, and we've all got to take personal responsibility for it and get rid of dirty politics and dirty, crooked politicians. How's that, zoogs?
  10. The Washington Post writing a hit article on Trump? You don't say...
  11. It seems that in regards to ISIS, they're gearing up to execute homosexuals and are not shy about their intent. That's much different than the Westboro d*ckwads who obviously have blind hatred toward all things outside the box they live in, but aren't set on max execution of them.
  12. I'm all for decrease in availability of guns as long as it doesn't prohibit the average person from getting them. Like others have said, the logistics of the situation are extremely difficult, and like any complex issue, once it hits the law makers it will become a huge clusterf*ck that lacks common sense. And where do you draw the line on who gets to own them and who doesn't? Are sex offenders allowed guns? Someone with a minor assault charge from a rough night at the bar? I think it would end up being way overblown. And i really don't believe it's going to solve anything. Once again, we aren't dealing with a gun issue. It's a mental health, parenting, and religion issue.
  13. Guns aren't the issue, zoogs. The issue is mental health and evil people.
  14. I predicted nothing correctly in this election and I'm confident of nothing the rest of the way. Props
  15. HA! Monday night the DNC announces that somehow Hillary magically got enough delegates to clinch the nomination, even though rules state that Super Delegates are not official until the convention. Why did they make this announcement? In order to discourage Bernie supporters from making their way to the voting booths. After this, Bernie still won 1 of the states and was competitive in the rest. Even Democrats don't want to vote for Hillary, so based on that alone, people are being very naive to act like she is going to win hands down. People will see in the coming months I guess...
  16. There was nothing racist about that comment. The lady lied about having native american heritage so she'd get special treatment at Harvard. I actually find that comment extremely funny. Do you seriously feel that there's nothing racist about the comment made by Trump? Regardless of her supposedly checking a box, there is no situation where a man should refer to a woman as Pocahontas. None. It's a horrible habit that Trump has, to belittle and attempt to demean people by using a "nickname" to condescend to them. It's unattractive, and a weak childish move at best (i.e. Little Marco, Boring Jeb, Crooked Hilary) but this one is indeed racist. I assume you're male - do you feel there is ever a time that you could be referred to as Tonto and it would be appropriate? If I had claimed to be Native American in order to get special treatment when in reality I have 0% Native American blood, then if someone jabs me with the term "Tonto" I deserved it. And no, it's not racist. And in case people need the actual definition: Racism 1. having or showing the belief that a particular race is superior to another. Nothing that he said demeaned Native Americans, unless they'd consider being associated with this woman as an insult. But then again, everyone gets offended by anything and everything these days...
  17. Thanks for the holier than thou arrogance, but there's nothing wrong with that comment. And it was funny. Now politely step off your high horse, Mr. Perfect.

  19. Right on cue. Trump's teachings are really taking! You realize it was sarcasm right?

  21. All things politically related are pretty much awful. Both republicans and democrats.
  22. While I don't ascribe to the belief republicans are financially responsible, a POTUS has limited control of debt and often things are on a lag. For example, poor economic practices during the 90s caused the collapse in the 00s. And a tech boom in the 90s probably disguised underlying economic weaknesses that led to a fall in productivity and debt in the 2000s. I absolutely think you are correct. Now just wait for about 5 years after Obama leaves office and see how big of trouble we are in. Especially if Hillary (God help us) gets elected.
  23. Hold on a sec... Our taxes are going toward a sausage factory? But in all seriousness, i get what you're saying and I'm very interested to see how this thing all plays out
