The irony here is that at the end of last season, some were touting that he was the most improved player over the course of the season. Just seemed to hit a wall this year. Best of luck to him.

Agree a thousand percent. Hepburn would be a great fit for Fred's point guard for the next four years, but I don't think we ever got a sniff.

This story will probably have a fairly short run now, due to the attention on basketball. But unfortunately, in the months leading up to the Oklahoma game in September, it will be revived and we will be blistered unmercifully. Most damagingly, it will inevitably detract from all the positive press this rivalry game deserved.

Unfortunate that the reward for the win is a date with Maryland...

This entire concept that refs are above getting criticized is so wrong.....

We certainly made enough stupid decisions to own this loss; but pretty frustrating when four consecutive calls in the last two minutes all go the other way, and then Lat turns down the three and ended up running out the shot clock... it's just inexplicable

Don't know if it has been mentioned but I believe each of the five starters had at least one turnover less than 9 minutes in...

And If I am remembering correctly, (for a natural geographic rivalry), there have been a number of years where we didn't play home and home and for most of those years that it has just been a single game, it's been AT Iowa. Go figure, an oddity in the Big Ten scheduling process involving Nebraska....

I have paid for the PLUS for several years. You can subscribe for all schools in the conference (for I think it's about 120), But I take the package that only offers all Nebraska events, and if I recall correctly it was about 79 or 80 bucks. To me it's worth it, although if you try and have several TVs streaming on it simultaneously It tends to knock one off when you fire up another.

Wish I could share your optimism, but I think Iowa is our worst matchup in the entire league with Garza inside and Bohannon (seems like he's been there forever) always tough against us on the outside; along with their other outside threats. Even though we are playing better, I could see a blowout tonight.

Yeah, I know I didn't exactly answer your question. Just frustrated watching insipid decisions again and again. But I HOPE the answer is they know they can play... if they would listen and execute...
