    Ran distance events in track and wrestled varsity in high school. Ran cross country in college. Learned the game of basketball in intramural at college and played many basketball tournaments, city leagues and noon ball at the local YMCA till I was 65. Started running sprints at seniors meets around the country about 9 years ago. I have 7 grandkids that I love dearly.

    It would appear the LA NBA franchises are having a really bad year. Lakers went home early and the Clippers are down 3-2 with one of their stars hobbled.

      The Clippers have actually had a really good year. They are just playing a solid Memphis team that could give almost every NBA team trouble.

      My bad. I meant a bad playoff series. Agreed this is a tough matchup for them even if they were 100% healthy.

      The Clippers probably need to find a defensive minded coach. I love watching them, but they're all flash at times and not very disciplined.
