Ran distance events in track and wrestled varsity in high school. Ran cross country in college. Learned the game of basketball in intramural at college and played many basketball tournaments, city leagues and noon ball at the local YMCA till I was 65. Started running sprints at seniors meets around the country about 9 years ago. I have 7 grandkids that I love dearly.
On a recent trip I drove from Wash DC back to central Nebr. Two states vie for the title of worst interstate road conditions. Indiana noses out Illinois. Both states were pathetic. Spent the night in Columbus OH and drove to see the stadium before leaving.
After living in Michigan three months I will rarely bitch about streets in Lincoln from now on. In fact idk even know why they're tearing up 70th street.
The interstate between Omaha and home were easily the best hiways I drove on. The worst stretches are better than most states best. I agree with you hammerhead. States can't be spending their gas tax revenue on road repair.
