    Ran distance events in track and wrestled varsity in high school. Ran cross country in college. Learned the game of basketball in intramural at college and played many basketball tournaments, city leagues and noon ball at the local YMCA till I was 65. Started running sprints at seniors meets around the country about 9 years ago. I have 7 grandkids that I love dearly.

  1. Has anyone on the board ever dealt with the Quadratus Lumborum muscle in the low back? I first went to the chiropractor thinking it was in the spine. 8 trips and very little relief. Next was a trip to the PT and they needled it which seemed to make a difference but only for a few days.  I've found one stretch that helps.  Also laying on a tennis ball on the hot spot helps but the best I've found is an inversion table. Any suggestions?

      I love this guy's videos, and actually saw one about that quadratus not too long ago. I've been having different kinds of back pain as well, but none of it is actually related to the back muscles, moreso the internal connections and hips instead:

      Also another one, not necessarily the quadratus, but if you guys are like me with similar back pain, I highly recommend giving this a look. It turned out I was having problems with the gluteus mideus. This video actually changed my life:
