    Rory to Nike is finally official. Very Agassi/Sampras, Nadal/Federer, Kobe/LeBron of them. I like the move.

      Read "right now". McIlroy is destroying people in majors. Tiger was lucky to break 80 on the last day of the Open last year. He's not right mentally still and hasn't won a major since 08. That's not to say he won't ever again, but if Tiger was still Tiger Nike wouldn't have gotten Rory.

      Tiger is still the needle. Rory has won two (admittedly in convincing fashion). Tiger has been facing injury, life events, injuries, swing changes. Just wait ...

      Since Tiger has been "back" from injury and swing changes, he has gone T41-T21-T3-T11. Rory has gone T40-CUT-T60-1. I wouldn't say those are "different planets."
