  1. Montee Ball got jumped again... Lost for season broke all his bones. But that's just how they roll in Madison. They harrass old ladies in wheelchairs and beat up their own Heisman candidates. This is normal behavior, though, so we just have to get used to it because this is the Big Ten!
  2. Any idea who comes in for dime package? Blatchford
  3. Many of you are much more able to take the high road than me. I feel angry/betrayed when people transfer. They're jacking with our plan. We just lost three four-star recruits in three months. Those guys were supposed to help bring it home in two years. Whatever happened to patience? Now, we're going to have to go JUCO to fill a hole at OL.
  4. Personal Tyler was born on Jan. 3, 1993, and is the son of Brian Moore and Kim Sorenson. He is majoring in business administration. Moore’s father, Brian, played tight end for the Huskers in the 1980s, earning a letter in 1985. Tyler is the cousin of former NU defensive end Jay Moore (2002-06). Those two ex-Huskers will talk him off the ledge and have him back in practice.
  5. That's my point. The spot is open between he and Qvale. He has Husker roots. He can't be leaving.
  6. This can't be true. He's right in the top 2 at LT.
  7. Is anyone else worried about this guy? He got dismissed from Auburn...you know...the team that paid 180,000 dollars for Cam Newton. He doesn't sound like a Bo Pelini guy.
  8. It's definitely Cross. The coaches talked about him in Columbus yesterday.
  9. Three of the 11 teams are in our division - cripes!
  10. This is the difference between "the exception" and "the rule." Nobody is saying that NO Husker fan says stupid crap. There are idiots everywhere. Here, it's the exception. That's all anyone is saying. EDIT - not five minutes after reading/responding to this, I run across this in Brian Christopherson's article about the 1992 Colorado game (which I was at, and it was crazy): That was a fun night! LINK
  11. UCLA is actually pretty loaded with talent on defense. However, it's hard to take them seriously when their defensive coordinator is this guy: Is Owa going to start for them? I hope we give him a special beating.
  12. Thanks for the frequent updates. So what place are we in now in the BIg Ten?
  13. It's just too bad that all the buzz didn't start ten days ago.
  14. Can we all at least agree that we hate Robert Smith? Where's the diversity on the panel, by the way? 2 guys from OSU? That's just dumb. I wish Trev Alberts had never quit ESPN. I haven't watched any of the other roundtables. Do they bag on everyone?
  15. I finally watched the video. Judging by the first couple minutes, you'd think we'd had losing seasons. They were laughing at us like we were a joke. I just want to stick it to them so bad. I want to watch Herbstreit talk about the Huskers kicking OSU's butt. (Does anybody have a link to that last year?) Palmer was insightful, but Robert Smith is a tool. He is openly disdainful of the Huskers, and I really hope he suffered very badly last year when we beat the Buckeyes! They settled down in the end and asked legitimate questions.
  16. Have you ever seen the size of that man's jugular vein? It's as big around as the average man's forearm!
  17. Man, I love your enthusiasm! That's what we need - a little bit of optimism!
  18. We need to sweep the non-con, split Wisky and OSU, lose only once in the stretch, and win the Big Ten.
  19. Wow, that was illuminating. I never go to other teams' websites. It's weird to see Nebraska viewed as the bad guy. Plus, they have the same paranoia about ESPN that we have. The thing I can't figure out is, if you're an Aggie, do you view that 9-6 game as a fairly-officiated contest? What do they say when they see 16 penalties to 2? Did they condone the nut-grabbing? I can't believe the vote totals are so low. If every student voted just once, it would double the total. Don't they know?!
  20. Fun question! Montee Ball is the only returning All-American in the Big Ten, but we love Rex too much to bench him, so I think the answer has to be Gholston.
  21. I voted. I think it worked this time. It says tamu is first and we're second, but I don't see vote totals.
  22. I can't get it to work. It says "error on the page".
