  1. TA, Foster and Marcus Newby did not practice today. Cole Conrad was back practicing.
  2. Im interested in knowing, with 4 days to prepare for the Iowa game, TA has a torn Hammy and all of a sudden Fyfe can't take a ball from center.....who do you think should have played QB with a realistic chance to actually be ready to run an offense? If the main problem was taking snaps from under center - which has mainly been what was stated - they could always ... you know ... not take snaps from under center.
  3. Fyfe will be fine by the game. Just limited now. Still 2.5 weeks away. That will be six weeks from surgery. But Fyfe and Darlington were splitting reps, fwiw.
  4. I'm pretty sure you do not remember correctly.
  5. If there was as much evidence as you claim, it should be pretty easy to post it. Yet you have none. Just speculation on your part. lol if your saying the statistics and facts I posted above debunking your arguments aren't evidence and your youtube stills are then . There's no having a reasonable conversation. Your angry and need someone to pin the blame on. Langs is who you settled on as your villain and you won't be swayed despite all the facts that muddy your argument, I see that now finally. So have fun with where that takes you. You have posted no statistic nor facts that prove 1 - We called the same plays in all those different games and it was just TA making different decisions that led to the different outcomes -OR- 2 - We absolutely could not have called those plays against Ohio State or Iowa because they had such tremendous pass defenses that it was useless to even try. It's obviously not #1 because there were basically none of the RPOs and quick passes that we saw against Minnesota and other games against Iowa. So that leaves you with #2 which is convenient for you to believe but is only speculation. So, like I said, you don't have any evidence. You have a couple observations that you apparently think are facts but are only speculation on your part as to how that would have translated into a game against us. And even if your speculation would have turned out to be (somewhat) true, the game plan we went with led to the second-worst blowout in school history and a 30-point loss due in no small part do to the fact that we completed less than 40% of our passes and the fact that we only scored a combined 13 points in those two games. So we almost literally could not have done any worse.
  6. Sounds like he'll visit UCLA in January.
  7. Ya. I mean, did they think people wouldn't have figured it out without the title? The generation that grew up with the original trilogy probably would have. The generation that was barely born when the prequels were released not so much. To an extent maybe, but Star Wars is a pretty iconic piece of pop culture. Yes. Star Wars is. "Rogue One" isn't. Thus, they included the part that is iconic to help sell it. Yeah....that's quite clear. Marketing 101. And even if they leave the Star Wars tag off of it, do they honestly make less money? It's the "story" part I take issue with, it sounds cheap and lame. Gotcha. I agree that "Star Wars: Rogue One" would have been cleaner, imo. I don't know that they really make less money. But for basically no additional cost, there's not reason not to include it.

  12. Usually looking at the Crystal Ball trends gives you a pretty good idea. The wildcard here is our recent hire of DWilliams. But right now, there is only one CB for Notre Dame and it's from a couple months ago. There have been two picks for Oregon and two for us this week. But both Nebraska picks came from Nebraska guys. The Oregon picks are from a ND guy and an Oregon guy. So nobody nationally has much of a feel. The ND guy's pick for Oregon is interesting. The other odd thing about Oregon is I'm not sure who would be talking to him right now. I can't seem to find what they are doing for assistants right now. So I don't like it that we really don't have many votes for us. But I would be pretty odd for him to pick Oregon without know who his coach was. Really interesting.
