I left him off because it's not certain that he'll make his decision by NSD and the speculation is we're looking to get 19 when we could get 20 because we are saving one spot for Lewis.

Hopefully Riley locks him down tonight. I think there's a really good chance of that.

Here's what I'm seeing now. I tried to order the guys in parenthesis by who we'd take. Supposedly we're taking four moe so someone's getting left out. LB - Looking for at least a couple more. I get the feeling we might be looking at Barry->Hall->Talan->Garbutt but I'm not sure. DE - Taking one. No idea what our order is. I wouldn't think so. Supposedly we have four spots left. We could have five so the speculation is we're saving one for the LB from South Carolina but that might change if we get enough HS LBs. At any rate, we seem to be after a couple LBs, a WR, a DE and a LS. But that's more than four so I'm not sure how they'll do that but I definitely don't think it'll be three LBs.

Riley was in to see him last week and supposedly Banker and Bray were there last night but I haven't heard anything out of it. He and mom are still supposed to visit this weekend.

I don't think it's official yet. Also considering similar offers from Stanford and Northwestern.

Eh, everyone else thinks the 19 is including the early enrollees. I'm not sure how they can know much about attrition if they've barely even had time to work with the team yet. Anyone who is sure to be leaving would have left already, like Love and Hart. We only have two actual spots left with the 15 in this class now so anything above 17 would have to be guys leaving early. I don't think there are 5-6 guys who are for sure leaving who didn't leave at semester. I think the moral of the story is if we do go over 88 total people are leaving that we don't know about, rs juniors that graduate but wouldn't play have been talked about I thbik there are a few of those The only upperclassmen that haven't been seeing the field are TE David Sutton and OL Paul Thurston and Core Whitaker. Sutton was one who I thought would leave but with us using more TEs now I'm not so sure. It's possible Thurston or Whitaker could look to leave but they are likely in line for a spot now that we lost several OL this year. I'm not saying there won't be anyone leave. I just don't think they can be sure anyone in particular is going to leave at this point.

Green has walk-on offers from Stanford and Northwestern. Visited those places the last two weeks. Prefers one of the three walk-on offers to the grayshirt at Wake. Has a USA Football game in Dallas on Saturday so he's trying to figure out if he can visit Lincoln or not.

He literally doesn't move without the ball. If he doesn't have the ball he is standing there just watching. In his defense, no one one our team does. We literally do not run an offense. Two guys pick-and-roll and the other three stand and watch. So he's probably doing what he's supposed to. I'll bite and disagree. Watch Shields against any zone. He gets it. Works the top of the key and creases in the zone as good as anyone I've seen in a while. Unfortunately finding an able passer to get him the ball is far to be found on the court with him usually. TP should take notes watching Shields working against a zone. I didn't get to watch the game tonight so it may have been somewhat different. And you can't really pick-and-roll against a zone so perhaps we did something different tonight. Or perhaps Shields is just a pretty complete player so he does some things on his own where almost everyone else doesn't.

Sounds like Read was back in contact with Chris Rubio, same "long snap guru" where we got Gluhaich's name from and is looking at a couple more guys. Sounds like we're still after one for this class.

Cavanaugh stopped by his school yesterday. Cav knows his coach well from his time at OSU.

Will visit this weekend but still doesn't have an offer. Originally from Chicago.
