Just going to point out that our basketball team couldn't even outscore their football team.

This team isn't doing well this year. An incredibly easy non conference schedule and they still came away with 3 losses. A 1-7 start in conference play would not only be unsurprising, it looks pretty probable.

I was too. I've been casually watching that team a few years and was hoping they'd be rewarded with a bowl game this year. They nearly swept the conference...no bowl.

This year's bowl schedule is looking incredibly uninteresting. The BCS bowls are an absolute joke this year. The Rose and Fiesta are respectable and worth watching, but those other three are a shame.

Baylor got the same treatment this year. They both have to play crappy 7-5 teams.

Nah its just because the ACC is clearly the better conference. Incidentally, the ACC just signed large television contract with ESPN.

I see no reason to believe this team is going to be anything special next year. The offense isn't spectacular, aside from Burkhead, and we are losing the heart of the defense. It's gonna be another 3 losses in conference play. This time two of the three won't be absolute blowouts, only one will be. The game in Columbus will be rough.

I mean, can you really argue going to a lower bowl than Nebraska? Yes, you have one conference loss... Nebraska. So, would it be cool if Northwestern got picked ahead of us?

Why do you guys think that we will be any good? Losing David and Dennard is going to absolutely kill us on defense.

I absolute despise Meyer. In 09 he needed to quit to focus on his health and family when really he was probably just looking at how his team was going to fall apart the next year losing key players and coordinators. He had second thoughts and decided he would just stick it out another year and see how things pan out. In 10 the team lost 5 games and the future didn't look bright. Instead of trying to sell those who follow the program on the idea of rebuilding he decides instead to say again that he needs to retire because of his health and family issues. So in 11 it's time for him to stay home with his family and focus on getting healthy, right? No. He takes a job at ESPN where he has to be on the road every single weekend plus all the time they want to have him in the studio and then accepts the head coaching position at Ohio State at the end of the year. I would've been completely accepting of his excuse the second time if he had actually stayed in the studio and spent more than just a single offseason away from the game. He is nothing but a weasel. He saw his program about to go through a rebuilding process and decided to just jump ship for excuses he has completely contradicted. f#*k Urban Meyer, I hope he crashes and burns at Ohio State (though I would wish that upon just about anyone who took the job there).

I noticed S.Miss and ArkSt. got #23 and #32 rankings on the USAToday/Coaches poll. Thus the weakest team in non-conf schedule will be UCLA . And comically enough, if UCLA wins against Oregon on Saturday they get to play in the Rose Bowl.

They aren't that close to the top. This bowl season will go to show just how overrated the majority of their schedule was.

I think our chances at an at-large bid just got a bit better since Iowa State pulled out the upset against Oklahoma State. If they lose against Oklahoma too then I think the Big 12 is only going to get one bid instead of two like everyone assumed they would.

I think we belong more than the Big East winner, whoever that is. I think there are at least 25 teams more deserving than whoever wins the Big East.
